Hey guys,
The last 6 weeks have been amazing. I want to start this post with updates on our Australia’s Got Talent status. I am excited to announce that our Performance will air on the very first episode of the show on this Sunday the 11th of August on Channel 9 at 6:30pm. Be sure to check it out!
A few weeks ago i competed at the US Open World Martial Arts Championships in Orlando Florida. This is a huge tournament with over 2000 competitors from all over the world making it the largest All Styles Martial Arts Tournaments in the World. I came away two 1st Places in the Creative and Extreme Kicks Breaking Divisions. A very proud moment for myself.
Following the US Open, I attended the Martial Arts Industry Supershow, which is held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a big Martial Arts Exhibition with Martial Artists and school owners from all over the world coming together, networking and exhanching idea. We attended seminars, did radio Interviews and i did a Photoshoot for Century Martial Arts, the Worlds Largest Martial Arts Supply Company.
Finishing off my stay in the states i spent some in California. When i was in LA i visited the Joining All Movement (JAM) Centre which boasts alot of the LA based Martial Artists, Trickers, Stunties and Dancers. Its a great venue and my favourite place to train. I also went to Southern California to train with friends and spent a week at the Loopkicks Summer Camp. A week long camp hosting some of the best trickers from all over the world. Was my third camp and it was full of craziness 🙂
After my return from the states, i went down to Canberra for a weekend for a video production. I played the lead character in a trailer video representing a novel by Scott Baker titled “Rule of Knowledge”. It was a fantastic weekend where we shot fight scenes in sand, used weaponry and finished off with some green screen work. The cast and Crew were very meticulous in their work. Below are some pics from the shoot. Visit www.ruleofknowledge.com for more info.
Looking ahead in the next few weeks, i will be working predominately on X-Treme choreography, Individual & Team Performance and Seminars. Seminars will be conducted in Perth, Melbourne and Port Macquarie.
Until Next time!
