Hey,
As the yeas has come to an end, i would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has helped me this year in one way or another. I have had the chance to meet and work with some really talented people of which i am grateful for. I will continue to work hard and strive for a successful 2012.
Looking over the past month, heres whats been happening.
I Competed at the National All Styles (NAS) Australian Titles on the Gold Coast. This was a very successful tournament for me as i took out the two events i had competed in. The Creative Forms and Creative Weapons Divisions.
In Accordance with the Release of my Instructional DVD Set, my Extreme Martial Arts Seminar Program has been going really well. I have had the chance to teach and train with martial artists from all over the country. Below is a video which covers some of the content covered in the Seminars. I would like to thank all the instructors for inviting me to their school. Looking forward to returning back in 2012.
Since the ISKA World Cup, The Australian Martial Arts Academy has had great media coverage. Below are two further Newspaper Articles.
This year, for the second time, i was invited to the Auburn Council Annual Sports Awards. The Category i was nominated for was Senior Sports Person of the Year. I was fortunate enough to take the award in 2009. This Year unfortunately, i did not take out the Award, but was awarded the Highly Commended certificate which was still great. It was a fun night.
Our Performance Team, The X-Treme Karate Kidz have had a great year with many performances and successful competitions. After a short break, we will be back into training looking to improve and build a more entertaining Martial Arts Performance Team. Below is a short video summing up our Performances at Centro Bankstown.
For the second consecutive year i have been teaching my School Sports Weekly Martial Arts Program. I get the opportunity to go into primary schools and teach Martial Arts to over 200 kids each week. Although it is just the basic program, it provides the school students with introductory Martial Arts techniques and Self Defence. I look foward to continuing this program next year.
And Finally, i held a tricks session at my dojo a few weeks back. Was heaps fun and there was a great turnout. Here is a video from the session.
I have some great things planned for 2012 which i will keeping under wraps for now. One which i will give away is that i will be working on a Martial Arts based short film with a really talented cast and crew. More details will be noted shortly. I would like to wish every a joyful festive season and a prosperous new year.
