Hey guys,

We had as the successful weekend at the 2014 ISKA World Cup. As the Australian Martial Arts Academy we had 20 people competing, which included members of our X-Treme Team. The ISKA stands for the International Sports Karate Association and every 3 years they host their World Cup which is a competition that is open to all styles of Martial Artists.

With over 1000 competitors attending the tournament, the world cup is the biggest tournament held in the ISKA circuit. Including divisions such as the Contact Sparring, Point Sparring, Forms, Weapons, Tricking, Team Showmanship, Self Defence, Koshiki, BJJ, Board Breaking to name a few. With the X-Treme Team, we won our showmanship division which also qualified us for the Grand Championships, to which we also took the title for. Below is a link to our Performance.

I also, qualified and took the Grand Champion Title in the Creative Breaking Division! I would like to Congratulate all our members at the Australian Martial Arts Academy and all competitors over the weekends events!
